Haliburton Farm Sunset Serenade
Wednesday 22 April 2015, 07:30pm

HAT invites you to Haliburton Farm for the Sunset Serenade to celebrate Earth Day on April 22nd at 7:30pm 'til the frogs sing and the bats fly!

Come tour the Haliburton Urban Biodiversity Project wetland and grassland restoration sites, samples some fabulous desserts, and stay to hear the beautiful spring chorus of the Pacific Chorus frog (Tree Frogs). Renowned bat expert Dr. Cori Lausen will be there to talk about the fascinating life of bats and (weather permitting) will demonstrate an echolocation recording device LIVE at the wetland! Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, warm clothing as we will be outside after dusk. Bring camping chairs if needed as well as binoculars, cameras or whatever will help you to witness the biodiversity that is Haliburton!
