We are hosting a HAT restoration event near Witty's Lagoon at Ruby Creek! We will be visiting one of our private covenants to remove some invasive species, Daphne Laurel and Himalayan Blackberry Primarily. Come on out to get your boots dirty and spend some time with interesting people! Lunch will be provided by HAT.
We will also have a special opportunity to learn about how HAT surveys for the Blue-grey Taildropper Slug, a species of special concern. Participants are welcomed to enjoy a beach day afterward with a wander down to nearby Witty's Lagoon.
If you're interested in this event you may also want to join HAT and CRD for Marine Day. That event will be taking place on July 13th from 11 am to 2 pm at Witty's Lagoon (for more details see that calendar entry).
