HAT's monthly supporters are our Habitat Heroes! Individuals, families, or/and local businesses that offer donations to support our stewardship and conservation efforts give a geat amount of support in our communities' efforts in conserving our lands. This cost-efficient and paper-free way to give ensures that your contributions make the maximum impact for threatened habitats and the wildlife that depend on them. The consistent monthly gift allows us to make future plans and provides a reliable stream of support to continue our work. Since your support is regular and ongoing, you never have to worry about keeping your donations up to date.
You can become a monthly donor online, or if you prefer we can arrange an automatic debit from your bank account by calling our office at 250-995-2428.

The First Time Donor’s Super Credit offers you an over-and-above 25% one-time tax credit on your charitable gifts up to $1,000. It’s available to any Canadian who is new to charitable giving or, has not claimed a charitable donation in the last five years

You can phone HAT and speak with a staff member to make a credit card donation at 250 995-2428. The office is open Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We can accept VISA, Mastercard, and American Express.
Come by our Office
You are welcome to come by our office and speak with any of our staff. The office is open most days Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our office is at 825 Broughton St on the Mezzanine Level, between the Royal Theater and the YMCA. Sorry, our office is not yet wheelchair accessible.
Fundraise for your favourite HAT Project
Check out the opportunity to raise your own funds for a HAT Program on Canada Helps Community Fundraising - wedding anniversary, birthday, through your local church, in memory of a loved one, bottle drive, bike trip, hiking adventure, community garage sale - collect pledges and donations from friends, family, and supporters through CanadaHelps and we will promote your efforts to all of our members on our website, newsletter, and social media.
Employee Giving Program
Alternatively, if your employer operates a payroll giving program, you can make a donation to HAT directly from your salary. If there is no such program in operation at your place of work, perhaps you could suggest that one be introduced.
Provincial government employees can donate to HAT through the annual Provincial Employees Community Services Fund campaign. You will need to enter HAT's name on the form or attach a note. Please enter HAT's full name (Habitat Acquisition Trust), address (PO Box 8552, Victoria BC V8W 3S2), phone number (250-995-2428), and charity number (88962 6545 RR0001).
