Are you interested in volunteering with HAT or are you a new volunteer with us?
Swing by the office at 825 Broughton (We're up the first staircase and to your left) from 3 pm - 6 pm on Feb. 19th for an introduction to HAT for those just starting. If you're a returning volunteer, thank you again for giving your time, and come on up to reconnect with us and lend a hand. It's always great to meet up for a good cause.
Stick around for pizza and get to know us and your peers better! We will be packing seed packets and putting together outreach material packages to help share HAT's work with new members of the community at upcoming events. Take a few wildflower seeds for your own naturescaping ventures too.
If you only have time to swing by for a quick intro or a little volunteering, you are still more than welcome to take part.
We have all kinds of volunteer opportunities, whether you're interested in restoration and outdoor events, wildlife surveys, marketing, photography, film, social media curating, website management, GIS, journalism, writing or general office support. HAT is always grateful for any community support that you can offer. We'd like to hear from you if any of these areas are of interest.
Volunteering is a great chance for networking and building your resume. So don't miss out!
If you're a highschool student, attending Royal Roads University, or interested in posting HAT's event posters in your neck of the woods we'd like to touch base. You could be our next Community or Student Ambassador!
