As the 2025 HAT Annual General Meeting (AGM) approaches, we want to take this opportunity to touch base with all our members, volunteers, donors, and other friends in the community.

Time: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm (meeting will start at 2:30 pm)

The AGM will feature:

Name Change: HAT staff are committed to actively engage in a learning journey toward decolonization. As a result, there has been discussion about changing our name to reflect this commitment while maintaining the HAT acronym that we all know and love. A special resolution will be presented at the upcoming AGM for members to consider the name change.

Launch of the HAT Foundation: We are excited to announce the launch of the HAT Foundation and you'll have the opportunity to learn more about it.

Board Elections: Elect new members to the HAT Board of Directors.

Year in Review: Hear from HAT staff as they share highlights and accomplishments from the past year.

HAT is deeply grateful for the ongoing support and partnership of our community. We could not exist without you and we are excited to have the opportunity to meet in person at this important gathering.

Membership with HAT

With our AGM coming up on March 2nd, we would love to extend an invitation to you to become a member with HAT or check in with us about your membership status. As a reminder, only HAT members are able to participate in our AGM and cast their vote in the future of our organization.

A note that all our memberships are on a “pay-what-you-can” sliding scale and come up for renewal annually in February—our memberships are valid for 12 months, from March 1st to February 28th.
