Help us reach our goal!

Our innovative Grow Hope Restore Nature initiative tackles two challenges at once. It provides meaningful employment opportunities for young people while also restoring critically endangered prairie-oak ecosystems.

Community-based Restoration

Good Neighbours Program

Land Protection

Species at Risk

HAT Membership

Membership is one of the principal aspects of how Habitat Acquisition Trust is governed. The purchase and renewal of memberships represent a consistent, community-based funding source that HAT relies on to undertake some of our work.

Donation

Donations help HAT conserve our beloved natural areas on South Vancouver Island and the Southern Gulf Islands. Choice One-Time Donations or Monthly Donation and if done via the CanadaHelps portal your tax receipt will be generated automatically. We also accept monetary donations via other methods (cheque, e-transfer, etc.) and for non-monetary donations that you believe HAT would benefit from receiving (Office chairs, event tents, etc.) please email us at hatmail@hat.bc.ca.

Volunteer in your conservation community

We are always looking for passionate individuals to help out with our diverse restoration projects. When we have restoration events or other volunteer opportunities, we add them to the Volunteer Opportunity List. This should be the primary place you check when looking for HAT volunteer events and opportunities.
