Annual Members Event: 2025 Recap
On Wednesday, August 27th, HAT hosted its annual members event: a time and place to come together, socialize, and get to know one another. These events provide an opportunity for us at HAT to express our gratitude to our dedicated members who support us and the local ecosystems we steward.
A huge thank you to all who attended—about 50 HAT-ers in total! We always love to see and meet all the individuals who make this organization what it is. It’s a true privilege. This year was hosted at the lovely Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavilion on a warm August evening. We enjoyed some tasty charcuterie bites and drinks together before battling it out over trivia (congratulations to the Bat Team for their trivia win!).
A special thank you to Loreisa Lepine for her land acknowledgement and opening, Karissa Chandrakate for photographing the event, and all the lovely HAT staff who helped the event go off without a hitch. We hope you enjoy some of these photos from our event!

Anyone can be a member with us at HAT. We have made membership as accessible as possible for all of our supporters. You can choose to donate for a membership, or you can select a barrier-free membership if you don't have the means to donate but would still like to be a member. We encourage all folks to join in, regardless of financial capacity.
Being a member is a great way to deepen your involvement with HAT. As a member, you hold voting rights at our AGM and will receive members-only perks (like an invite to a fun social gathering!). For us, having a strong membership base supports our cause with steady revenue, improved access to funding, and an engaged community of supporters. Visit www.hat.bc.ca/member to learn more.
