HAT Membership
What Does it Mean to be a HAT Member?
Membership is one of the principal aspects of Habitat Acquisition Trust governance. As a member-based organization, our members hold voting rights and can participate in HAT governance at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). These meetings allow the HAT Board and staff to be accountable to our members, report on the previous year, and express our vision for the coming year.
Every year, HAT holds a special event specifically for our members outside of the Annual General Meeting. The HAT Members' Social gives us all the chance to socialize, get to know each other, share stories about our time in the HAT community, and for HAT to hold up volunteers and partners for their work.
We invite all to become HAT members! If financial costs are a barrier to becoming a member, please select the “Reduced Barrier Membership” option below. If you are able to contribute, please become a member using the link below via our donation form. Please note, there is no set price to become a member!
