We hope that you can join us Saturday April 26th, for a celebration of Earth Day weekend at Oak Haven Park!

To kick-off this special day, the District’s plant expert, Justin Dunning, will lead us on a spring wildflower tour through the park.  We will then be coming together as a community to help remove invasive plant species from the park’s rare and endangered Garry oak ecosystem with the Friends of Oak Haven Park. Plant walk will begin at 10am!

No experience necessary! All are welcome! This free event is a great way to build connections to one another, the land, and its natural inhabitants, around us!

This is a collaborative event hosted by Habitat Acquisition Trust, Friends of Oak Haven Park and the District of Central Saanich.

Date: Saturday, April 26th 2025
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Location: Oak Haven Park - Volunteers can meet where the trails from Benvenuto Ave. and Garden Gate Dr. intersect

Parking: There is a small parking lot on Benvenuto with additional street parking on Garden Gate Dr.

Refreshments, tools, and training provided by HAT and Central Saanich
